In4Squash Ireland’s 2026 International Tournament will be on the 25th and 26th of September in the Sutton Lawn Tennis Club, Dublin which has 5 championship standard squash courts, including a glass-back court with the capacity to hold up to 70 players and 70 spectators.

Running Order
Friday, September 25th: Registration will commence at 5pm on Friday evening. The seeding rounds will begin at 5.30pm with play on day 1 finishing up at 9pm. Players will retire to the club bar for a light meal and music.
Saturday, September 26th: The seeding round will continue on Saturday morning at 9am followed by the Tournament rounds on Saturday afternoon. Lunch and snacks will be provided and included in the entry fee. The tournament should finish by 6pm.
Saturday evening, September 26th: The post-tournament dinner will be located in the Woolen Mills, Dublin City Centre at 7.45pm. Afterwards we will finish up the night in Dublin’s iconic George bar.
If you cannot play in the tournament, you are more than welcome to join us at the restaurant, and of course partners and friends are invited to join the evening meal and celebrations
Tournament Details
The entry fee is €50 which covers the cost of the tournament and includes food on Friday evening, lunch on Saturday and snacks.
Available add-ons include:
- Evening Set Meal in Woolen Mills on Saturday Night (€40) (Partners/Plus ones also very welcome!)
- Tournament T-shirt and singlet.
Game Format
Players will register for levels A (experienced), B (good player), C (intermediate) or D (beginner). If players have won at a level previously, they must play a level up. The organisers reserve the right to reassign a player’s level.
For the seeding round, games will be played in a box style with 4/5 players in each box (mixed level) and all games will be 2 games first to 11. Max of 22 points available per person. Points against will also be considered for ranking.
Players will play 3 or 4 matches on Friday evening. Remaining games will be played Saturday morning from 9am at the same venues and then players will be ranked into their divisions A, B, C and D.
We will have a double elimination KO style with best of 3 or 5 games (game to 11 win by 2 clear points). Players eliminated will then play for the consolation medals in the same division.
The game format is subject to slight alterations depending on final numbers on the day.

The Sutton Lawn Tennis Club is 30 minutes from Dublin City Centre and 20 minutes if coming directly from the airport. Google Maps Link
By Train & Bus
The Dart (train) Station is Sutton and the Club is a 10 minute walk from it. From the Dart station walk down the road to the left as you exit towards Sutton Cross on Station Road. Keep to the left at Sutton Cross towards Howth and the Club entrance is via the laneway about 100 meters on the right.
Sutton is serviced by the following buses H3 and Number 6 bus to Howth. The closest bus stop is just after Sutton Cross towards Howth. The bus stop back into Dublin City is outside the Marine Hotel.
By Taxi
A taxi from Dublin city centre to Sutton Lawn Tennis Club would cost roughly €40 one-way.
Public Transport
An integrated bus/train travel card is called a “leap card” and can be used on buses/trains in Dublin. This offers the cheapest travel rates. You can purchase a leap visitor card for unlimited travel during the period.
You can choose from a number of options:
- 1 day (24 hours) – €8.00
- 3 days (72 hours) – €16.00
It can be purchased online and sent internationally in advance of your trip or else you can purchase it in Dublin airport in any of the three shops below.

Until July 31st : 50% refund.

After August 1st: No refund.
It is possible to transfer your registration to another player until the end of August.
Merchandise orders after August 1: Any t-shirts or singlets purchased after August 1 are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend you can have this shirt collected by a member of your club on the tournament day or else we can arrange to have your merchandise posted to you, provided you are happy to cover the postage.
